T.Y. Hilton, WR Florida International

Hilton is a undersized WR but will make you pay if you don't give him the respect he deserves. He is a shifty WR with great speed and will make big plays all day. He shows great burst and explosion to pull away from defenders after a catch is made usually resulting in a touchdown. He makes use of this as Florida International set up a lot of bubble screens and short passes to get him more involved and make use of his skills. If Hilton is left in open space he can be very dangerous. However Offensive Coordinators may create several plays designated just for him in order to get him more involved and put him to use. He does well to catch the ball when thrown away from his body. He does struggle with getting off Press Coverage. One concern if that his route running isn't great but that is something he can learn when drafted.

Going into the draft Hilton with a strong pro day and workouts along with a good show at the Senior Bowl will be able to show what he has. He will most likely be a 3rd round pick falling into the later rounds 4th or 5th.
