Ryan Tannehill, QB Texas A&M

Tannehill a former Wide Receiver converted to Quarterback. As you would assume Tannehill posses great speed. He does have a lean frame and will need to bulk in order to avoid getting pushed around with ease. He is a very mobile and will be moving all the time. When he does tuck and run there a some issues raised about his footwork and mechanics. Tannehill has great height for the quarterback position which is what scouts are looking for he is a smooth flowing motion with a quick release which allows him to make accurate throws on short and medium routes. However on the deeper routes you can see the lack of arm strength because at times the ball is under thrown. He has had a up and down season with the Aggies the finished 6-6 after close losses when they were leading in buy many points. His stock may rise but at the end of the day he is very inexperienced. Going into the draft Tannehill will be a solid 3rd round pick potentially climbing into the 2nd.
