Poe is a big force in the middle for Memphis. At all times he should be double blocked because he will shred opposing teams to shreds if left in open space to run at the ball carrier. Poe posses good burst off the line and has the ability to make the pocket collapse. At this moment in time Poe isn't an every down player he will need to work on his conditioning in order to be an every down player and contribute. But due to him not being an every down player has an upside he is always ready and even when double teamed he can still beat both blockers and get to the ball.
Poe's upper body strength is amazing he can grab hold of ball carriers and single handily pull them down with one hand. He does lack some rush passing skills which can be taught at the next level. Whilst also trying to split blockers more often and attack different gaps in the line. With Poe you get a player with great feet which allow him to explode off the line which allows him to get into tight spaces and blow plays up. He is a very instinctive player and will find the line a running back is going down and close it. Rarely do you see him beaten off the line he makes use of he long arms and keeps leverage. Going into the draft Poe has had a great season for Memphis and has really showed scouts what they want to see. Poe will land in the second round potentially falling into the third.
