Stephon Gilmore, CB South Carolina

Gilmore led the Gamecocks last season in tackles with 79 along with racking up 3 interceptions and 3 sacks. Gilmore is arguably the Gamecocks best cornerback and is routinely asked to cover the opposing teams No.1 receiver. The only thing pulling Gilmore down is that he is still a very raw talent and hasn't shown he can do everything a cornerback is needed to. He has the skill and athleticism to make it in the NFL and is football knowledge is next to none. But he needs to vastly improve his technique in order to become a complete player. In addition to this adding size to his frame and getting stronger would help dis play as he is quite tall. Going into the 2012 draft is Gilmore shows improvements in weak areas of his play he could be a 1st round pick but for now he will most likely be a 2nd or 3rd round pick.
