Spence who has just finished his senior season with Miami. Ending his career at Miami with a stellar season despite being suspended for the opening game against Maryland. He has recorded 106 tackles, 3 sacks and 1 forced fumble during his last season. However going into the draft Spence has no real identity to were he will fit in. During his time at Miami he has played Middle and Strong-Side Linebacker. Even though undersized he would be a good fit for a 4-3 defence as a weak side linebacker. Some teams could even view him as a Safety as he has the athleticism to convert. One of the better coverage Linebackers in the country he shows fluid movement and consistency when making plays and will make them all over the field. A benefit to his play is he is a great tackler and is rarely seen missing a tackle or making a mistake. His football knowledge is vast and can understand what the Offence is trying to do and adjust to it accordingly. He is also known to put a lot of time into film study which further helps him as a player. Going into the 2012 Draft Spence due to his size may scare of some NFL teams but is a top prospect no matter what. He will most likely be a 2nd round pick in the draft. However if he works out as a Safety in All-Star games it could raise his stock up to a 1st.
